Course 5: SR for AAMC: Hands On Training

By enrolling in the course, you will automatically become a member of the Circumcision Academy of Australia. This will entitled you to one year subscription to the academy, and you can withdraw at any time by emailing Prof B Morris, the Academy Secretary on admin@circumcisionaustralia.org
ABOUT SMALL SURGERY COURSES
In 2021, The Circumcision Academy of Australia, at their annual meeting was looking to setup a training program for circumcision. Small Surgery Courses was initially created to train practitioners in Early Infant Male Circumcision. It expanded with the view to train in other surgical procedures.
Mohamed Hajoona currently coordinates the training programs. In 2013, he sought to brush up the circumcision skills that he learned during his family medicine (general practice) training he completed in Canada a few years prior. At the time, there were no formal training programs for circumcision in the world that were available on the internet. Eventually, he was able to source custom-tailored training internationally from different locations. Having acquired competency he then returned to offer circumcision in Australia.
